Finding the character in cloud computing

The Marketing Practice brought us on board to help Nutanix create a cast of characters to embody their offerings in the space of cloud computing. We went on to make six films featuring this charming cast of characters.

Cloud computing is a hugely abstract and technical space, so we leaned on all our expertise in character development and illustration to create a team of characters that would help Nutanix better present their offerings.

Each character’s personality traits and physical appearance have been sculpted to reflect their product’s features and uses. We Cloud Platform, where all Nutanix products run, is depicted as a multifunctional craft, where the characters are able to perform their tasks.

The initial phase of character development saw us setting up the illustrations guidelines and motion guidelines, ready for the internal Nutanix team to run it through all their marketing and comms. We went on to make six explainers that feature this charming cast of characters.
