Animation for a short film by Edem Wornoo
End of Play is a short film by Edem Wornoo, produced by Lunar Pictures in collaboration with BBC Film.
We were invited to design and create a 30-second animation sequence that forms part of the film, and the official trailer. The animation comes in the form of a mid century-style infomercial, narrated by
a planet-shaped mascot for a fictional company called Pantheon – a dystopian service of the future offering to “create entire worlds for your viewing pleasure”.
World building
To enrich the believability of this brave new world for the audience, we were also tasked with designing brand elements for Pantheon for use by the
art department on set. This included the company wordmark, loading computer screens, a news article and the opening titles.
