Farewill, the UK's best-rated 'death specialists', were no strangers to animation when they came to us with this project. We'd already worked together on a beautiful TV spot introducing the nation to Farewill and its simple approach to will-writing.
Using the brand's signature design language, we set about creating that magic balance of comedic timing with heartfelt, relatable elements through the power of character animation. The result earned us an interview with It's Nice That, who were intrigued by the novel approach (and the cute mascot, Blob).
Now, Farewill are harnessing the power of animation once again with a brand new, double-length TV advert, featuring the same soft and friendly character style, relatability and charm that Farewill are now widely known for.
It was fantastic working with Animade. They’ve got a real love for the craft, and they’re great collaborators too. They were always happy to listen to our ideas, and share their own. We loved working with them from the initial storyboards to the moment everything hop, skipped and jumped into life!
