Working together with Marion, we devised the concept for the promo films and eventually arrived at the friendly fingerprints morphing between the animals that appear in her book, Let’s Make Some Great Fingerprint Art. From a curious little alien to a flapping and flopping goldfish – and all the animals in between – we felt this was a simple but effective way to excite people about the book.

The fingerprints provided a solid base for us to transition into each character, and to add a bit more fun to the trailer we worked with Aaron Lampert on sound design, switching up animal noises at unlikely points to add pace, punch and extra funnies.

Reimagining the simple fingerprint was our way of capturing the curiosity, playfulness and fun found in Marion’s book. We hope it makes you smile!
