Consulting on a game-changing rebrand

In one giant leap for email marketing, we produced animation brand guidelines for Mailchimp's exciting new vision.

In a bold move away from the slick, digital brand identities of their peers, Mailchimp’s popular rebrand saw the platform establish itself as a creative pioneer in the technology industries. We were asked to consult, animate and concept for this exciting project. We couldn't wait to get stuck in!

Working closely with Mailchimp’s US team, we produced animation brand guidelines that would be used universally. This enables Mailchimp to source creative from studios all over the world, whilst keeping the look and feel consistent. We also brought a number of Mailchimp’s key assets to life, including a short homepage animation and later a kaleidoscopic 30-second intro to some of the benefits of the marketing platform.

The rebrand has been hailed as an innovative move away from traditional branding practices, and signals a shift towards a more experimental, imaginative approach within the industry—serving as inspirational fuel for creatives everywhere.
